Watch: checking your lesson in 70 seconds

Overview

My Lessons is where every riding lesson you have booked lives: what is coming up, what you have already ridden, anything cancelled, and any lesson packages you have paid for. Everything your riding school has told you about the lesson is on this page, so you never have to hunt through emails before you drive out.

Finding your lessons

  1. Sign in to Horsify.
  2. On a phone, tap the small tab with an arrow (‹) at the top right of the screen to open the menu, then tap My lessons. On a computer, open the menu under your name at the top right and choose My lessons.

You can also go straight to horsify.com.au/my-bookings.

The four tabs

  • Upcoming: lessons still to come.
  • Past: lessons you have ridden, or whose time has passed.
  • Cancelled: lessons that were called off.
  • Packages: blocks of prepaid lessons and how many you have left.

If you have asked to join a lesson that is full, your waitlisted lessons appear above the Upcoming list with your place in the queue. Horsify lets you know if a place opens up.

What the lesson card tells you

Each upcoming lesson shows the lesson type, the date, and a status badge:

  • Confirmed: your riding school has accepted the time. You are good to go.
  • Pending: the booking is with the school; you will get an email once it is confirmed.
  • Cancellation requested: you have asked to cancel and the school has not decided yet. The lesson is still booked until they approve it, so please come along if you have not heard back. Changed your mind? Tap Keep my lesson.

The card also shows the start and finish time, your instructor (or “To be assigned” if the school has not picked one yet), the school horse if one is allocated, any notes from your school, and whether there is money owing.

Seeing the full details

Tap Details on the lesson for the full picture: date and time, duration, booking type, client and instructor, school horse, who made the booking and when, the notes from your school, and a payment summary: total price, amount paid and amount owing.

Changing a lesson

On an upcoming lesson you may also see:

  • Reschedule: same lesson and coach, new time. Horsify shows the times your instructor actually has free. If your school does not offer online rescheduling, or you are inside their minimum notice period, you will see a message telling you to contact the school instead.
  • Cancel: asks to call the lesson off, with an optional reason. If the lesson was still Pending it is cancelled straight away. If it was already Confirmed, your riding school has to approve the cancellation first, so the lesson stays booked (showing “Cancellation requested”) until they respond.

On a past or cancelled lesson you will see Book again, which reopens the booking form with the same lesson type and coach already chosen.
