Watch: registering the whole family in 80 seconds
▶ Watch the 80-second walkthrough
Overview
Entering events as a family shouldn't mean four separate registrations and four card payments. On Horsify, one parent account can register several riders for the same event in a single order — each rider with their own ticket, classes and horse — and pay once at checkout.
This works for any rider on your account: yourself, and any family members you've added under My Riders on your rider profile.
Before you start
- Add your family members as riders first — Rider Profile → My Riders → Add Rider (name, date of birth and relationship is all it takes).
- If they'll be competing, make sure their horses are on your account too, under My Horses.
Registering the first rider
- Open the event and tap Register for event.
- Under Registering as, choose who this entry is for — the dropdown lists you and every rider on your account.
- Select the session and add a ticket. If the club offers member and non-member tickets, pick the one that applies — member discounts apply automatically when your account holds an active membership with the organising club.
- For a competition: tick their class or division, choose which horse they're riding, and tap Add to Selected Divisions. Repeat for every class they're entering.
The running total at the bottom of the screen updates as you go.
Adding the next rider — same order
Instead of heading to the cart, tap Add rider. The form resets for the next family member while everything you've already added stays safely in the order — you'll see the cart count tick up at the top of the screen.
Choose the next rider and repeat the same steps: session, ticket, their classes, their horse. Add as many riders as you need.
One cart, one payment
When everyone's in, tap Review in Cart. The cart lists each rider's entry separately — their ticket, their classes, their horse — with one total at the bottom. Check it over, then continue to payment and pay once. Every rider is registered in a single transaction, and the confirmation covers the whole family.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can each rider enter different classes? Yes — every rider in the order picks their own classes, horse and ticket type independently.
Can two riders share a horse? Yes, where the event's rules allow it — each entry names its own horse, so pick the same one for both.
I picked the wrong rider — do I have to start over? No. Use Clear registration on the entry you're building; riders already added to the order aren't affected.
What about extras like camping, stables or yards? Add them in the same order where the event offers them — they land in the same cart and the same single payment.
Do member discounts apply to my kids' entries? Member pricing follows each rider's membership with the organising club, and applies automatically when it's active.
