Welcome to Horsify! This guide gets you from a brand-new account to your first online booking. It's short, because on the Instructor plan you're the only coach, so there's less to set up. Each step links to a full how-to in our Help Centre.
Where things are: everything below is in the organiser menu (the menu button at the top of the screen once you're signed in).
Your plan at a glance
| Instructor | Online bookings for private and group lessons, client records and progress, your own booking page, packages, payments, and 50 SMS reminders a month. $15 a month, with a 60-day free trial. |
| Free trials | No card needed. If you don't add a card, the plan simply stops at the end of the trial and you're never charged. |

The quick way: Set up your coaching
If you told us you're an independent coach when you signed up, your dashboard offers Set up your coaching: a few questions that create your lesson types, hours and arena for you.
Part 1: Set up (about 30 minutes)
Step 1. Finish your instructor profile
Organiser menu, then Riding School, then Your Profile. Horsify has already made a starter profile with your name. Add a photo, a short bio, your email and phone. This is what clients see when they book.
Step 2. Set your availability
On your profile, set your usual week under each venue you teach at. Use Block Dates for holidays. A coach with no availability can't be booked, so this is the step that turns bookings on.
Step 3. Add your lesson rates
On your profile, Lesson types & rates sets your price (including GST) for each lesson, with an optional deposit or full payment up front. How-to: Lessons, pricing and rates
Step 4. Add your qualifications
Add your coaching qualifications. Current ones show on your public listing.
Step 5. Connect Stripe so clients can pay online
Organisation, then Profile, then Payment Integration, then Connect Stripe. Online payments cost 2.5% + 30c each, all-in. Clients paying you cash or by bank transfer pay your price and nothing more. How-to: Stripe
Step 6. Check and share your booking link
Settings, then Riding School shows whether your public page is live, next to your booking link. Clients go straight to booking with you (no instructor to pick), choose a lesson and time, and pay at checkout.

Part 2: Your teaching day
| Job | How-to |
|---|---|
| My day: your lessons in order on your phone, check riders in, finish lessons and dictate notes | My day |
| Your lessons in Apple, Google or Outlook calendar | Calendar sync |
| Clients, their riders and notes | Client management |
| Selling a block of lessons | Lesson packages |
| Tracking each rider's progress | Student progress |
| Hiring an arena or facility | Facilities and hire |
Growing? If you take on other coaches, the Riding School plan adds unlimited instructors. See Instructor plan or Riding School plan.

- Search the Help Centre: go to kb.horsify.com.au and type a word or two into the Search our how-to guides box at the top, for example availability, lessons or Stripe.
- Ask us from inside Horsify: tap the Help bubble in the bottom right corner. Search first, and if you don't find your answer, fill in the short form in the same panel. That logs a support ticket and we reply by email.
- Email: support@horsify.com.au (this logs a support ticket too).
