Overview
One horse is often registered with several bodies at once, and each has its own number. Horsify records them all against the horse, so you enter each number once rather than hunting for it every time you fill in an entry form — entry forms that ask for a registration number fill it in for you.
The societies Horsify ships with are:
| Code | Society |
|---|---|
| EA | Equestrian Australia |
| PCA | Pony Club Australia |
| AQHA | Australian Quarter Horse Association |
| ASHS | Australian Stock Horse Society |
| AWHA | Australian Warmblood Horse Association |
| APSBS | Australian Pony Stud Book Society |
| AAHS | Australian Arabian Horse Society |
| AHCA | Appaloosa Horse Club of Australia |
| OTHER | Other Registry |
If the society you need isn't listed, use Other Registry and record the number against that — you don't have to wait for anyone. The named list is maintained centrally rather than per club, so ask Horsify support if you'd like a society added to it properly.
Who Should Use This Feature
Perfect For
- Competitive riders whose horses are registered with multiple equestrian bodies (e.g., EA + AQHA, EA + PCA)
- Breeders managing horses registered with breed societies (AQHA, WB studbook, etc.)
- Event organisers whose entry forms require proof of registration with a specific body
Prerequisites
- The rider must have a horse registered in their Horsify profile
- The equestrian society (registry provider) must be configured in the platform
How It Works
Registration Details
Each society registration stores two things:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Society | The registry provider (e.g. Equestrian Australia, AQHA) |
| Registration Number | The horse's registration number with that society |
Entry Form Auto-Fill
When a rider opens an event entry form that includes horse registration fields, Horsify auto-populates the relevant society registration numbers from the rider's horse profile. The society shown depends on the event's required membership body configuration.
How to Use
Adding a Society Registration to a Horse
- Navigate to My Horses in the rider profile
- Open the horse's details for editing
- Under Society Registrations, click Add Registration
- Select the Society from the dropdown (e.g. Equestrian Australia)
- Enter the Registration Number
- Add another row for each additional society, then save the horse
Viewing All Registrations for a Horse
- On the horse profile, all society registrations are listed under Society Registrations
- Each entry shows the society name and registration number
How Auto-Fill Works at Entry
- Open an event entry form that requires society registration
- Select your horse from the horse picker
- If that horse has a matching registry link, the registration number field is pre-populated
- Verify or correct the number before submitting
