Store Page Template and Product CMS Blocks

    Overview

    The Store page template and product-related CMS blocks allow clubs to showcase their merchandise and products directly on their club website. Visitors can browse products, view categories, and see featured items — all from within the club site.

    New Block Types

    1. Product Categories

    Displays product categories in a grid or list layout for easy navigation.

    Features:

    • Grid layout: Visual category cards with icons and product counts
    • List layout: Compact category buttons with product counts
    • Automatically fetches categories from the organisation's store
    • Shows product count per category

    2. Products

    Displays a grid of products with configurable columns and optional filtering by category.

    Features:

    • Responsive product grid (1 column on mobile, 2–4 columns on desktop)
    • Product cards with image, name, and price
    • Optional category filtering to show only products from a specific category
    • "View All" button with customisable text and URL
    • Only shows published products

    3. Featured Products

    Showcases featured products in a prominent, eye-catching display.

    Features:

    • Prominent display with gradient background
    • Shows discount badges if a compare-at price is set
    • Displays product images, names, short descriptions, and prices
    • Hover effects for enhanced user experience
    • Automatically filters to products marked as "featured"

    4. Product Showcase

    Highlights a single product with a large image and detailed information.

    Features:

    • Large hero-style product display
    • Full product description
    • Prominent "View Product Details" button
    • Discount display if a compare-at price exists
    • Configurable image position (left or right)

    Store Page Template

    The Store page template provides a complete, ready-to-use store page with the following pre-configured blocks:

    1. Hero Block — Store banner with heading, subheading, and shop button
    2. Rich Text Block — Welcome message and store information
    3. Product Categories Block — Category navigation grid
    4. Featured Products Block — Showcase of up to 4 featured products
    5. Products Block — Grid of 12 products with a "View All" link
    6. Call to Action Block — Contact prompt for product questions

    Using the Template

    When creating a new page in the CMS:

    1. Click "Create Page"
    2. Select "Store Page" template
    3. Customise the page title and slug
    4. Edit individual blocks as needed
    5. Publish the page

    Future Enhancements

    Potential improvements for consideration:

    • Add sorting options (price, name, newest)
    • Add "Add to Cart" buttons directly on blocks
    • Implement real-time inventory display
    • Add product quick-view modals
    • Support for product tags and filters
    • Integration with club member discounts
