    Overview

    Horsify uses a tiered subscription model. Organisations choose the tier that suits how they run — from simply listing external events, through full event management, to complete riding-school and club-website solutions. Your tier controls which features you can access.

    Who Uses This

    • Organisers: subscribe to unlock the features their organisation needs.
    • Admins: manage subscriptions and billing on behalf of organisations.

    Subscription Tiers

    Limited - Free for 12 months

    For organisations that want a presence on Horsify while handling registrations elsewhere:

    • Create external events only (riders are sent to your own external registration platform)
    • Listed on Horsify's public event pages
    • No internal ticketing or on-platform registration

    Basic - tiered by active member count

    Full event management, including on-platform (internal) ticketing and registrations. The yearly price is based on your number of active members:

    • 0–100 members: $10/year
    • 101–200 members: $20/year
    • 201+ members: $30/year

    Includes:

    • Unlimited events
    • Online registrations and payment processing via Stripe
    • Core event management features
    • Public event listings

    Premium - $5/month

    All Basic features plus:

    • Email marketing (campaign creation)
    • Sponsorship management
    • Custom entry form builder
    • Advanced analytics

    Instructor - $15/month

    A solo-instructor plan with the riding-school toolset, limited to a single instructor (the organisation owner):

    • Lesson bookings
    • Client management
    • Payments and invoices/receipts
    • Availability and cancellation-policy management

    It cannot add additional instructors. Organisations needing multiple instructors should use the Riding School tier.

    Riding School - $39/month

    Comprehensive riding-school management, including all Premium features:

    • Group and private lesson bookings
    • Multiple instructors and scheduling
    • School horse management
    • Client profiles
    • Facility hire bookings
    • Online bookings

    Custom - $299 setup + $59/month

    The complete club solution, including all Premium and riding-school features:

    • Custom-branded club website with a visual page editor
    • Custom domain mapping
    • Theme customisation

    How to Use

    For Organisers

    Subscribing

    1. Go to Organisation Settings > Subscription.
    2. Review your current plan and features.
    3. Click Upgrade to see available tiers.
    4. Choose a tier and complete Stripe checkout.
    5. Your subscription activates immediately.

    Managing Your Subscription

    1. Open your Subscription settings.
    2. View your current status and billing.
    3. Update your payment method through the Stripe portal.
    4. Cancel if needed — access continues until the end of the paid period.
    5. Reactivate a cancelled subscription at any time.

    Feature Access

    Features you haven't unlocked show an upgrade prompt with a "Premium" badge and a link to compare tiers.

    For Admins

    Manual Subscriptions

    For organisations paying outside Stripe:

    1. Open the admin Subscriptions area.
    2. Select the organisation.
    3. Choose Create Manual Subscription.
    4. Set the tier and billing period.
    5. Save.

    Admins can also view all subscriptions, filter by tier or status, and cancel or reactivate them.

    Subscription States

    • Active — in good standing with full access to the tier's features.
    • Trialing — a trial period is running, with full access before the first payment.
    • Past Due — a payment failed and Stripe is retrying.
    • Canceled — the subscription has been cancelled; access continues until the current period ends, and you can resubscribe.
    • Expired — the paid period has ended.
    • Paused — the subscription is temporarily paused.

    Billing & Invoicing

    • Invoices are generated on renewal, with GST calculated for GST-registered organisations.
    • Invoices are available in the Stripe billing portal and emailed to your billing contact.
    • Upgrades are prorated to your billing cycle; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.

    Cancellation

    • Access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
